A.H. Stewart is listed as Assessor for the year 1849 for the Township of Tyrone.

I looked up the Rist family and the book said there were listings under the following spellings: (Rist, Riste, Reis, Rise, Riset, Rice) There were listings for John Reist and John Jr.

www.familysearch.org had a listing for a John Rist Born About 1808 Tyrone, , Fayette, Pennsylvania Marriage About 1828 Tyrone, , Fayette, Pennsylvania to Sarah Sherrick born 30 JAN 1812 Dunbar, Fayette, Pennsylvania Daughter of John Sherrick and Nancy Ann Stauffer.

The above mentioned History of Fayette County has listings for Sherrick, but only one for a J.B. Sherrick p. 500 under the heading of the Fairview United Brethren Church "On the 12th of May, 1850, a Sunday-school was organized in this house, with Abraham Pershing, superintendent; J.B. Sherrick, D. Tinstman, and John Pershing, managers;" Later it says that J.B. Sherrick also served as a superintendent. This church was in Bullskin township.

Familysearch.org lists Alexander H. Stewart as born on 19 JUL 1808 Dunbartwp, , Fayette, Pennsylvania and their marriage as 1838.
